Vulnerable favorite Dancing Buck (5-2) debuted nicely 4 weeks ago on AQU lawn, but he’s VERY turf-oriented being by War Dancer (0/19 with his 12 dirt starters) and out of all-turf/stakes placed Frivolous Buck. $75k earning sibling Brockmoninoff (Smart Bid) was turf too (2/0-1-0 on dirt). 2nd choice Bingo John (7-2) goes for Brad Cox barn and is a half to New Orleans H. (G2) winning S’Maverlous (Tiz Wonderful) who was pretty fast at 2 himself. Note Oxbow just a 9% debut sire. Second time starters Heymackit’sjack & POE Oliver’s Fortune figure to improve off check earning bows. Firsters Lobsta (half to stake winning Chowda), sharp-working Reggae Music Man (16% debut sire Maclean’s Music), Interstate (homebred out of IL sprint stake winner C’Mon Feet) and Damilano (Bond 16% FTS; $4.14) all have merits that make them competitive.
