Efficient, profitable Friday to start the Cup with serious run at a big P5 hit falling short when anchor leg complexion changed on Midnight Hawk’s poor break. $25.00 score in Twilight Derby with Mystic Lake hero Long On Value giving the afternoon ballast including $129 straight P3 with Brendan Walsh’s impressive Cary Street in the Marathon and Walther Solis’ Cal stake juvy My Fiona. Fantastic performances in the Cup races from Hootenanny, Lady Eli, Goldencents and Untapable who were all dominant.
