I agree we should have a draft and I agree with you also that we should get rid of pensions for government employees altogether and have a matching 401K plan while they are serving or working. We both know the pension model is a failing model just look at the Big-3.

So you disagree about our bloated government pensions? They are ok? Aren't you always screaming about our debt?

Im not saying I disagree with pensions. If a 401 will cut the national debt maybe this country should try it. Im sure the money saved will go to Obamacare. While people collecting Social Security get screwed. I wont say anything about the military and retiree's. Oh did I mention them. Sorry about mentioning them.

I guarantee you we wouldn't be so quick to be invading other countries, either.

War is a multi-multi Billion dollar business. Knocking it down and building it back up.. Those that make the decisions to go to war are very heavily invested.. They sell us the Patriotic bull<shit. Losers are the taxpayers (what else is new) and those killed in combat and their families. The last war we should have been involved in was WWII.

![]() With the change in the auto industries, I wonder if defense contracting is left as the biggest industrial complex in the US?
