Dee Tee Stable's Ausable Chasm

Currently, there are 3 horses available for prospective partners in 'NY/11-04'. NY/11-04 comprises 3 New York bred colts being broken and that will be trained by Gary Sciacca, who helmed our first state bred, Ausable Chasm (view win photo), to a thrilling Maiden Special Weight victory at Saratoga this past summer. It was a moment those in attendance will never forget, and with the coming Aqueduct VLT parlor, racing in New York should continue to be special for years to come. Bought by Dee Tee at the Saratoga Select Sale in August, the City Zip and Johannesburg are racing in partnership with Dr. Paul Giacopelli (who bred the City Zip) while the Rockport Harbor is 100% owned by the partnership. A buy-in is available on:

  • JOHNANNESBURG-MULTIPLICITY (Fastness-IRE): Minimum - $500/share (Represents 1%)
  • CITY ZIP-U R THEWEAKESTLINK (Mountain Cat): - $750/share (Represents 1%)
  • ROCKPORT HARBOR-MAYAN LAKE (Dayjur): $1,250/share (Represents 1.5%)

SPECIAL Combo Package: $2,250/share in ALL 3 horses! Write to Steve at tpkasept@yahoo.com

Trainer Chuck Simon and Steve Byk introduced Dee Tee Stables in 2006 as a way to bring fans into the game as owners at a minimal cost. Since the purchase of Sumwonlovesyou at the February 2007 Mixed Sale, more than 125 stables partners have joined the racing club and have seen Dee Tee runners compete at Saratoga, Belmont, Keeneland, Churchill Downs, Turfway Park, Kentucky Downs, Arlington, Atlantic City Race Course, Tampa Bay Downs, Delaware Park and Charles Town!

For one-time buy-ins of $500-$1,500 per share, Dee Tee Stables associates enjoy all the benefits of horse ownership without the burden of monthly bills. The program is made possible by trainers Simon and Belmont-based Gary Sciacca shouldering day rate expenses on Dee Tee horses in exchange for larger percentages of revenues from the runners. The program makes it possible for fans and horseplayers that never thought they would own thoroughbreds, to get into the paddock and winner's circle.
