Diplomatic Jet was 7 for 13 over the Belmont turf with his 3 Grade 1 wins coming at 29/1 odds (By 4 lengths in the Manhatten) 11/1 odds (By 2 lengths in the Man O' War) and he also paid $13.40 when he won the Turf Classic. I remember the Pilgrim win by 12 very well. It isn't often you see 2yo's winning turf races by a dozen.

That Champagne day was very interesting. A future champ got beat at 1/5, another future champ won by 21, and a Derby winner finished last. Name them without looking at the charts from that day...

Flanders by 21 - I'm assuming Sea Hero was the Derby winner who ran last. Not sure about who went down at 1/5?

Lure was beaten at 1/5 by a horse who was trained by the same guy who trained Trivia horse #2. I just remembered Steve Crist doing the weekend recap with Harvey Pack for that Super Saturday of old.

The Nijinsky's Gold hint gave it away. His win over Lure in the Kelso was a highwater mark for Labreds. Tony Richey trained Nijinsky's Gold for many of his starts.

Correct on Flanders and Lure. The Derby winner was Go For Gin, although Sea Hero is obviously a good guess.
