I work in construction, that is how I make my money. After college when there were no jobs for college graduates I learned how to work in other ways, crazy I know. So what does that have to do with an unemployed IT worker, or an unemployed accountant, or an unemployed nurse, or an unemployed teacher?
You think they all should be construction workers? Or migrant workers?
There are plenty of people trying to get new careers, but there are no jobs. Try to apply at your local McDonalds, and see how many are competing for that position.
