Lehman Brothers is not hiring but I left before the collapse so it didn't really effect me other than the fact that I sold all my stock before it tanked.

However, in your defense Mawhip did say "effect me" when he should have more properly stated "had the effect of". Perhaps: Lehman Brothers is not hiring, but I left before the collapse and sold all my stock before it tanked, which had the effect of generating enormous wealth for my family.

All grammer aside, I was just responding to the attempted lowball thrown by Drugs. But like so often with Drugs, he was wrong. He just tries to look smart after the fact as was the case with the Archarcharch overlay. Had he been so smart, he would have told us this BEFORE the race.

You have to be able to forecast the odds correctly to determine that.

Had I posted "a pick" before the race .... I would have "picked" Elite Alex (who was 8/1 on the ML) versus Archarcharch (who was 12/1 on the ML)

That's really not even the reason why I don't bother posting picks .... it's because of the ankle-biting I put up with afterwards when one of them losses.

It's not my problem she didn't use it as a noun (a fact also noted at the bottom of my post). Your original issue was with her word choice, not her usage.
