![]() Don't like Bind's action (if trying to get home going 10f.) We'll see. I think he will be very tough going 8f-9f.

![]() When you debut this late in the season - it's best to forget about the Triple Crown. Owners will be owners - but even if the horse is thriving the right thing to do is to try an assualt in the 2nd half of the season after the Triple Crown series meat grinder is over.
Mucho Macho Man simply ran to his NY races today ... what a nice prospect for a June 15th foal. You've got a trainer who can easily be moved up on - and Maragh is poverty year in and year out in dirt route races. What a nice prospect and so easy to root for. Give that horse any old alchemist to train it - and get Joel Rosario up - and you'll probably see a freak. |

But I do like your idea on the debate! Maybe when that debate is over, we can all get treated to a "Who is better " debate between you and PG1985. |

![]() That may have been the fastest 6f debut by a 3yo in Fair Grounds history. Some have run 1:09 and change in their debuts at FG. Muhtafal for Neil Drysdale in 1995 and Tantivy in G for Neil Howard in 1991 come to mind. But I can't think of another who finished under 1:09.

![]() A. P. Indy was a better 3yo than Indian Charlie.
In the latters case it was 'what could have been' in the formers case it was 'what was' |

![]() I remember a couple of conversations where you said differently, but yeah, Indy was obviously more accomplished.

![]() Al Stall is a pretty easy read on his horses future. I am sure you will have him up this week, could you ask him why the horse didnt race at 2 please.
I never got the feeling Stall was ever in love with Apart you could tell he was never remotely comfortable comparing Apart with Blame last year he did everything he could not to laugh at loud when it was suggested Apart could be as good. |

![]() How many fast 6f maiden winners prove to be graded stakes horses? A quarter? An eighth? Let's wait for a possible repeat performance against winners before we get excited.

![]() Yeah, the only horses who generally Beyer 100+ at first asking end up being garbage pales like Curlin, Quality Road, Discreet Cat, Chilukki, and Formal Gold.
