So I turn on the TV to watch a little of the Open and the first voice I hear is Chris Berman's. Are you kidding me? Keep Chris Berman away from golf. Didn't he jump the shark with Steve Forever Young or one of those other stupid names he crowbars into a highlight?

Yeah, Chris Bermans act is old. Enjoyed him for a long time, but he needs to distinguish himself in another sport....or stick to highlights

These guys get on my damn nerves with how far they hit it. Rory hits Driver, 8 iron to the 523 yard par 4 18th.

I would hit Driver, 8 iron and then another 8 iron

This course is a joke. US Open should be won at near par.

Too much heat the last couple weeks before the rain. With the recent heatwave (since replaced by rain), they were afraid to cut the greens US Open close because they didn't want another Shinnecock incident where they had to hose the 7th green down between groups on Sunday. Also, the rough didn't grow as expected in the searing heat.

USGA will put a hurting on these guys next year in San Fran. like no other. Complete lunacy at the Olympic Club. Be ready for 6-8 inch rough with greens rolling 15 on holes sloped to make putting impossible. The USGA can be cruel if they want to and now they are embarassed.

Did anybody see the feature they did on Pinehurst No. 2 they ran yesterday? They are trying to go green and are minimizing the watering. They are irrigating tees, fairways and greens only. The rough is rough, it almost looks like the desert courses in the Southwest. You miss the fairway, you are in a giant waste bunker. 2014 should be interesting too.

He still got a long way to go, Rand. I hope he does end up better than Tiger, but he has much much more to prove, although this weekend was a great start. I was hoping he would win by an even larger margin. A magnificent performance any way you put it, but doesn't even remotely hold a candle to Tiger's romp at Pebble.
