Tiger's out. He was better when he was banging everything in sight.

That just might be the problem. |

Wow, just saw that Ty Tryon got in up at the qualifier in Maryland. He's been trying to Monday qualify on the Nationwide.
|
KJ Choi will be in the mix. Stricker, and Kuchar too... those three are playing the most consistent golf on the tour.

Fred Funk also qualified in Md. Let's go old guys! For what it's worth, I wouldn't be surprised if it's a totally off the wall player winning this one. The top 2 in the world are extremely consistent, and obviously in form, but also have been proven to be less than clutch in majors thus far. If I'm taking an American, it'd be Kuchar, but I could definitely see it as someone who is 100-1 in the Vegas sportsbooks. |

So I turn on the TV to watch a little of the Open and the first voice I hear is Chris Berman's. Are you kidding me? Keep Chris Berman away from golf. Didn't he jump the shark with Steve Forever Young or one of those other stupid names he crowbars into a highlight?

These guys get on my damn nerves with how far they hit it. Rory hits Driver, 8 iron to the 523 yard par 4 18th.:wf
I would hit Driver, 8 iron and then another 8 iron:o |

And I would hit Driver, drop, 8 iron, 8 iron, drop, wedge. |

This course is a joke. US Open should be won at near par.

USGA will put a hurting on these guys next year in San Fran. like no other. Complete lunacy at the Olympic Club. Be ready for 6-8 inch rough with greens rolling 15 on holes sloped to make putting impossible. The USGA can be cruel if they want to and now they are embarassed. |
