Whoever wins this won't be getting it because they deserve anything. It will be because they earned it. LeBron must have really hurt you bad for you to hate him as much as you do.

He shouldn't earn anything. He's ghetto trash and a bad role model. He'd be a felon if he didn't have athletic ability.

F.uck yourself, son.

"I'm taking my talents to south beach"

People like that don't earn anything. He's nothing more than an overpaid circus freak.

Yes..and he's a big time choker and ball hog.

So everyone that has the chance to earn a living doing what they love and has earned the right to chose where they want to work is wrong to do so? Let's see. We don't hear about the guy getting in trouble with the law. We don't hear about him cheating on his woman. We don't hear about him having five kids with five different women. We don't hear about him using drugs. What's so bad about the guy? He has fun playing a GAME and that's bad? His teammates love him. I just don't understand all of the hatred. Why would you assume he'd be a felon? Because he's black? What has he done to lead you to that assumption? I know a lot of people were turned off by the whole media circus with the decision thing and I also didn't like the way they did it. But what's forgotten in the whole thing is that he insisted that the proceeds go to charity. Yeah, I guess that's pretty horrible. So he chose to go play in Miami with another great player and try to win a title. Big deal. If you had to chose between Miami and Cleveland to live, you'd probably chose Miami also.

He insisted the proceeds go to charity because it looked good. If he wanted to give money to charity, just give it, don't make a spectacle out of it.

Everything is Hollywood with him. It's beyond having fun. It's classless. Just play the f'n game already.

Good post KG. Can't really argue about anything except one thing. Me personally, you couldn't pay me to live in Miami. For me it's the worst weather on the planet. I do a ton of cross country skiing in season, and it's how I get most of my exercise so Miami would be misery for me. I'm a big fan of snow. Summer is painful for me which is why I sought out an extremely dry climate to live in. Maybe when I'm 80 I'll like warm and humid weather.

None of us know LeBron personally so none of us know what he's like behind the scenes. I'm guessing any one individual can focus on anything with LeBron and go to town. He is an ego maniac which is par for the course with stud athletes and why they are likely stud athletes. Those against can focus on that. those defending can make your points and stand fast. As a native northeastern Ohioan I only cheer for proper laundary so defended him when he donned the right laundary. I don't care much either way any more. I'm still pulling for Dallas!!

Whether he did it because it looked good or not, do you think that matters to the people that benefit from receiving it? As I said, I agreed that it was not the best way to handle it at all and he's admitted that if he had to do it over again, he'd do it different. But if that's the worst thing we have on a guy, how bad can he be?

I don't think that people understand what it's like to be a superstar athlete or entertainer in the world these days. At 13, he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated. He was put on a pedastal by others. He didn't place himself on it. How do you learn grace and humility when people are catering to you at that age? I think it's easy to look from the outside and say a person should be like this or should act like that but the reality is that none of us knows what it's like to be in those kinds of positions or how we would react if we were.

His antics on the court don't seem out of line with what anyone else is doing these days. It's not the 1980's or 1990's anymore. Personally, I feel like a lot of the stuff is over the top.....the screaming and pounding your chest after a big dunk or block, the holding up three fingers after a long shot, etc. I didn't do that stuff and I don't care for it now. But LeBron is hardly the only guy doing this stuff. It's just part of this generation of players. The older guys did it in different ways. Jordan and Bird are legendary for talking a ton of trash on the court.

Overall, I just don't see a bad guy. I see a guy that's well liked by his teammates and well respected among his peers. Listen to any interview and he's respectful of his opponents and he doesn't get in trouble. The biggest negative people seem to be able to come up with is that he's having too much fun.
