![]() I'm always pissed.
But I was just giving you a hard time, nothing more. Which reminds me of that Slow Children song from a few years back. |

![]() Im far from a breeding expert, but how does he get any good mares?
There are tons of simply better more flashy sires. He might get decent horses, but how many will have any speed and be able to win early? I think he will be standing for under 12k in 2 years. |

Um, how does he get any good mares? He will get the best Claiborne mares, that's a pretty nice starting point, while Blame may not be flashy, whatever that means, he has a pretty solid female family, I'd breed to him over Quality Road or Lookin at Lucky, he actually won at 10 furlongs. |

QR and Lucky will both have better chances to be better sires. |

i don't know that blame will be a great stallion, but he'll certainly get his chances. and without having to cover close to 200 mares like he would with coolmore.

seriously? you take out two consistently good stallions and then ask that? wow. yeah, if you take all the good out of anything, the comparison then becomes lame, doesn't it? yes, commercial breeders have bypassed this farm due to sheer numbers. not sure what that has to do with whether blame will be a success. claiborne knows their job, and knows how to support a stallion. i don't think it's them causing claiborne problems, i think it's their fellow horsemen and women who have run past them and some good horses for a more commercially viable horse. blame, any stallion, is bucking the odds. hard to say if he'll be a success or not. or any new lane's end or three chimneys stallion for that matter. look at smarty...ghostzapper. two started at six figure studs that have done much of nothing thus far.

![]() This thread is disgusting.
It's tough to bring in new fans to the sport and keep them with threads like these. What kind of person ponders if a horse load is going to consistently produce greatness? Wtf is wrong with you? |
