None of that is fair or even accurate. How can I rub in anybodys face something that I don't do anymore. By my choice. It was 2009 not 2010 and I discovered it wasn't for me. I do know that no matter what I say some will find a way to carve it up. I have 30 years in this business and love to share my experiences and what I might have learned. If you'd like I'll shut up and leave you to yoursevles.

Vic quit being an agent or perhaps wasn't welcomed? I don't know nor do I really care. You think if BYK got a huge raise from Sirius we would be reading about the 400k bonus he got and then months later how he was giving up the show to snuggle with Tina on the couch?
Why should I apologize for working hard and supporting my family?

Actually Vic if you told us why Zenyatta is so special I would love to read your thoughts. I would love to here from you on why Sherriffs elected to race against weak ass fillies when there were weak ass horses and colts to go after. We all would like to read about what made being an agent so tough and why you felt it wasn't for you..

I POSTED THIS ON ANOTHER SITE A FEW DAYS BACK. I'VE TAKEN OUT THE $$ FIGURES BECAUSE IT GOT EVERYBODY IN SUCH A TIZZY

You got the full and complete story. From the time I took Rosario in Oct. 2008 until Tyler's injury this past July I had three days off. Those were spent in the hospital. Since then I rediscovered fun and joy in my life. I feel physically great. My relationship with my wife and step-daughter is terrific again.

In retrospect I just don't think I had the right makeup for agenting. Maybe just a bit too OC. There's really no end to how many hours you can put into it. You can beat the books and the barns and phones 8 hours a day five days a week. Or 14 hours a day 7 days a week. I was the latter and it took it's toll. I knew I had to change but never could.

I made ALOT of money.$*** from Rosario alone in 2009 but I never found time to enjoy it. I sure make alot less now but my quality of life is 1000% better. Tomorrow is promised to nobody. There are lots of miserable rich guys out there. I refuse to become one of them.

Thanks to all of you for the well wishes.

Happy Holidays

Freddy. You must remember that being an agent was my second job. Unless they throw me out on the street I'm NEVER EVER giving up being announcer. Between the two I felt I had too much on my plate. As for the day to day interworkings of having a top rider I'd be happy to answer any questions you have as long as it doesn't betray a confidence or hurt anybody.

You are so sure HP will be around in 2012 2013 etc. You are so sure Cal racing is going to thrive again? Seems to the answer to both issues are far from etched in stone?

Vic how many agents have ever started their business as successfully as you? You had the two top jocks in Ca. You had business related issues that we all heard about. Did these type of issues have more to do with your career change then just looking to spend more time watching the Playboy channel with the Missis?

I'm not sure of anything. I know as much about HP's future as you do. I do know I sure hope they let me stay as long as we run. I had NO business related issues. I've stated the reasons for my walking way. Note to self. Get Playboy channel to watch with the Mrs. See and you guys think there's never any good ideas on DT.

4. Horse racing is viewed by younger bettors (like 18 year-olds such as myself) as being a fixed, corrupt game that one cannot win at.

9. I am a crusader. I am a vigilante. I will address these issues when they rear their ugly head..
I am woman, hear me roar. Thank god you are here to save us! What color is your cape?

I believe the following.
What I'm wondering is why you think anyone cares.

You're on a roll?

Talk about delusions of mediocrity.

You seem like an angry, little man who should be a poster child for displaced aggression.

You seem to like lists. Here you go...

The outcome of your constant and unprevoked berating of Vic is two-fold...

1. You are giving him a chance to show his patience, humor and class, and

2. You are making yourself look more bitter, self-serving and jealous with every post.

I'm sorry it caused such a tizzy that I cleared $334 working as a jockey agent in the year 2009.

How can I rub in anyones face something that I don't do anymore?

The question was asked why I walked away from something that seemed so lucrative and successful. We live and learn.

In my humble opinion any time a man boasts about making alot of money in his career he is the fool. The ego maniac fool. Thats just on you man. It appears you are ready to settle into something like a family life with your wife, step kid etc etc but I would caution you from my own personal experience that one of the most deflating things a man can do is talk about how much money he makes to another man who makes a considerable amount less. I think, from a distance, your a great cat. Best wishes to you and yours this holiday season!

That's where I clearly made a mistake. I didn't intend to BOAST. I said that to illustrate how commited I was to taking another direction despite $$. Sorry. I'll try to be more sensitive in the future.
