It's not about being sensitive. I've gotten thicker skin thru the yearsthru my own mistakes. It's just the "image" that is presented. I believe your a great cat, like you care what I think lol. Just know this Vic, I made a decent living in the late 90's and boasted about it to anyone in ear shot. When I left that job, on my own faults mind you, it was a spiral down a slippery slope. In particular, when I look back at how the employees that worked their a s s off for me for pennies on the dollar of what I was making and how it made them feel, well, yuck.

Have a great Holiday Season with your family man and best wishes to you for a great 2011 and beyond!

I think, from a distance, your a great cat. Best wishes to you and yours this holiday season!
Remember 2mins. Agenting was a second job. I'm a racecaller and hopefully always will be.

I believe the following.

1. The game revolves around bettors and without bettors it will fail
2. The current average age of horse racing bettors is close to one billion years old
3. Horse racing does not do anything (or, at most, very little) correct to attract new bettors and therefore is dying
4. Horse racing is viewed by younger bettors (like 18 year-olds such as myself) as being a fixed, corrupt game that one cannot win at.
5. This is very unlike, for instance, the message that poker has sold to reinvent itself
6. The reason horse racing is seen as fixed and corrupt is because, well, it is
7. Ordinary bettors (people that do/would bet) believe that unless you are an industry "insider" it is impossible to beat the game. (I could offer as evidence myriad examples)
8. Worse yet, for some reason, the industry allows for (and in some case encourages) this corruption and faulty marketing strategy to perpetuate itself.
9. I am a crusader. I am a vigilante. I will address these issues when they rear their ugly head.
10. Vic is an ugly head.
11. I really think I know what I'm talking about.

You know what? I could really give a rats ass about your opinion. You are just a little boy with an axe to grind with anyone and everyone. Sounds to me like you need to grow up. The few of your posts that I've read seem to back that assessment up. Take your opinion and thesaurus someplace else. I enjoy reading inciteful post not simple blowhard statements.

Didn't you read? Don't interrupt...he's on a mission. He's trying to save the horse racing universe from all the fixers and the like so ordinary bettors can win.

Speaking of needing a cape. Does Vic pay you to blindly defend him and add nothing to conversations....ever.

Just out of curiousity, what exactly to you disagree with him about? What has he said that is incorrect or you disagree with?

many of your arguments seem very emotional and provide little substance. your lists are nothing more than lists at this point. you seem to be very passionate about horse racing; however, it would help suscribers if you would provide examples and evidence to support your claims.

while you provided a link to stauffer's "issue" (which really was rosario's issue) earlier, you fail to to cite the following: http://www.bloodhorse.com/pdf/JoelRo...int09PM001.pdf

i realize you have a problem with mr. stauffer; however, it is very irresponsible to defame an individual. be careful of the content of your posts as some of the material is libel (published or fixed form of defamation of character; a civil wrong that falsely impugns the reputation or character of a person or entity, opening the target up to public scorn or ridicule).

while i do not agree with most of your list, you are entitled to your opinion. in the future consider providing substance for your argumets, that way we are able to debate them with facts, either in support or opposition.

you may be a very intelligent person and a good guy, but we have a responsibility to post responsibly and maintain a convivial atmosphere.

Its not whether I agree or disagree with him, it's his manner. Look at Guats post above, that describes pretty much how I feel. Not to mention the fact that he should be banned for his rather vicious attacks on Vic.
