![]() I had to stop reading the comments to Jason's article. One cubic foot of cerebral concrete by so many.
I wished Zenyatta could have pulled it off. She didn't. Blame got it done, and he is deserving of HOY. Going into the BCC, there was no clear cut candidate for the award. The Classic was the deciding factor. But I do know this much. From now until January when they hand out the Eclipse Awards, the battle will rage on with Zenyatta fans repeating over and over and over ad nausem their reasons why Zenyatta should win HOY. And, the Blame or Goldikova fans will repeat over and over etc. why each of them should win HOY. There will be no straying from opinion in any of the camps - just constant, head pounding, mind numbing, repetitious reasons why. As of this post, I shall say no more on the subject. If I had a vote, it would be for Blame. I'm saddened that Zenyatta did not win, but emotions aside - she lost and she'll have to run another year if HOY is the quest (which I think it is) of the Moss's.
