Dude, just stop. The whole 'you must not watch football' thing blew up on you last year, don't make an ass out of yourself yet again. 14 seasons in a row, at least 5 teams who missed the playoffs the year before made it. Parity is putting it lightly. Like I said, it's cool to try and mark off wins and losses, but only if you realize how retarded those predictions will look in two months.

Joey you've got to be worried about Revis. That situation could blow the whole season up.

It'd be real bad if he doesn't play obviously, but they're doing the right thing not caving in to him. Cromartie has been great in camp and hopefully with an improved pass rush we can protect Wilson on the other side. Also, I think the offense, which leaned so heavily on the defense last year, will be much improved and could offset some of the defensive setbacks if Revis is out.

What cracks me up is that no one on the goddamn earth besides Jet fans knew who Revis was a year ago, and now if you listen to the media he's the most important player in the history of everything.

They need to give him guaranteed money. Chances are he's going to be a top 3 corner for the next 5 years. So give him the long term deal and move on.

The problem is they're not going to talk guarantees until they agree on base compensation. Revis has to let the getting more money per year than Asomugha thing go. Al Davis is a moron and the Jets aren't going to allow him to set the market by grossly overpaying his best corner. The Jets are offering Revis 10 years/$120 million (which will probably translate to $30-$40 million guaranteed), which seems more than fair considering the guy, you know, has THREE YEARS LEFT ON HIS CONTRACT as it is. It was Revis' agents who insisted on the sixth year of his rookie deal by the way.

Until the Jets start calling plays that FEATURE their quarterback because they believe in him instead of hiding him, like they did the entire 2009 season, we will not be able to understand how good the NY Jets are. Sanchez is the question not Reevis.

sanchez doesn't need to be a feature qb if all the jets have to do is score 17-24 points to win most games.

he needs to be moderately competent with that defense. that isn't a stretch.

That is speaking about GREEN BAY. It should be taken in the same manner as when Jets fans talk about Miami

Regardless, that 'you must not watch football' bullshit is stupid. It's little man syndrome talk. We all watch football here, and the fact remains that it's by far the toughest team sport to predict year in and year out.

I predict the Eagles will be a better team with Kevin Kolb. They have a very tough schedule, and may not have a ton of success this particular year.. but I expect an Aaron Rogers type progression.

from NFC east blog: McNabb being heckled by some Skins fans already.. not looking accurate, throwing lots of INT, having trouble learning the playbook.

Granted its just camp & that doesnt mean much.

I fully expect that Jason Campbell will have a better year than McNabb also.

Putting this **** out there for bragging rights or crow eating rights at the end of the year.
