Brian, as far as I'm concerned the last half of your post is totally inappropriate! Is SEIU privleged when they steamroll people in an open forum? They've done that. Liberal backed thugs. Is that what you want for an open and frank discussion? I worked 30 yrs as a Teamster in grocery whse. But their liberal drivel and voter suggestions never ceased to show up every month at my door. Please tell me what rewards I've reaped, other than by parentage or work.

No, timm, your beliefs are generally all things wrong to me, not the fact that you're privileged....because as far as I can tell, the fact that you believe in god and you're a heterosexual are the only two things on which at this point in my life, I'm less privileged than you are, so I'm privileged beyond belief compared to lots of people in our country.
But you don't understand the concept of privilege at all, and your post shows that in about 16 different spots. Hard work, parentage, blah blah, they are *not* privilege. Generally people react very poorly to having privilege, as you've done here. If you honestly want to understand it (and I realize this is likely a lost cause before i even start asking), I'd be more than happy to PM with you and share links so you'd at least understand what privilege is, and from there decide whether you want to deny the fact that you have tons of it. You don't have to feel guilty or defensive about having it, which is what I was trying to get at with what I considered a very kind, fair response, but it seems you do intuitively feel guilty and defensive about it, based on your rather rancid response.
Otherwise, it's cool, nothing has changed
