I wish he was more like Clinton. But Clinton had one good thing going for him that Obama does not, a Republican led Congress.

The public most usually does like the opposite party in control of Congress and the Senate to serve as a check to the Presidential Party. That is what makes the upcoming 2010's so interesting politically, to see if the opposite party can indeed regain the House and Senate as history shows the electorate usually chooses.

I think Obama could be okay with a Republican congress.

I'm sure he's as frustrated with Pelosi & company as we all are (republicans and democrats together).

A Republican congress would keep him in check with the amount of money being spent.. and I would hope the Republican congress would work with the President on some of his reasonable idea's.

It worked out okay with Clinton.. Though Bush & Dem led congress was a disaster. Bush with Republican congress was a disaster. So far Obama with Dem Congress has been a disaster.

I want Obama to do well.. I want this COUNTRY to do well.. I just dont agree with most of President Obama's idea's and plans. If he gets a R Congress and moves more to the center, I'll be much happier.

Good points. I agree alot of the drama can be laid at Pelosi and Reid's door. Not a fan.
