some performance from Rachel, but can somebody tell me why Munnings was running over 9f? There is nothing in his make up that suggests he could stay 9f. Running him over a mile would probably be just about the maximum.

The only decent sprint this weekend was a G2 that Pletcher already has Quality Road running in. They took their shot at a huge purse on the chance to see how the horse routed on a track where speed carries and now can cut him back for a big race in the G1 King's Bishop on Travers Day.
