![]() Maybe it was the flight for this crazy talk (as I was thinking this on the way home) but I was seeing if there was any way you could skip the Preakness with an injury free horse..The Derby double would be a great acheivement but a better feat would be to win the Kentucky Derby and then the Arc as it is THE race everyone in Europe wants to win. So that way you could still attempt the US triple crown, give the horse a well deserved rest, then ship to Europe, make sure to get in a prep race, ideally the Prix Niel, but I would like to prep in a G1 race rather than a G2. I would probably send the horse to Leopardstown for the Irish Champion Stakes or if I was feeling very adventureous, the St Leger, then the Arc.

Bad news for Mine That Bird is I believe the Arc (and Epsom Derby) are for Colts and Fillies only - NO GELDINGS!!!
