Are we even sure that Secret Oath is "better" than Echo Zulu? Look at where the horses close to the pace in the Oaks finished.
That's a great question. I think Echo Zulu is probably better up to one mile and Secret Oath better 9F and up. If someone offered me a bet, someone that would pay, I would take Echo Zulu to win the BC F&M Sprint over Secret Oath winning the BC Distaff.
