A little hard to believe that Shane Spiess, who has been training 30+ years and whose family is as ingrained in Ohio racing as the Radoseviches, would endanger his livelihood and family's reputation over the tiny money in the MVR pool.

As Tony Black discussed yesterday, wouldn't be the first time the wrong horse was brought over and missed and won't be the last.

This reminds me of Captain Cronin/ Ski Robbery at Calder Race Course ( I THINK an honest mistake )

My Dad calls that a half-assed job....

Stewards questioned Sharp, who is supposed to check every horse in the paddock before each race. Sharp admitted, however, that he never flipped the colt`s lip to check the tattoo and match it up with the tattoo number on the colt`s foal papers.

Absolutely atunning admission. Thats his job. So, what so you do? Look at lip tattoos, but i dont akways look. Unreal.
