Whether he did it because it looked good or not, do you think that matters to the people that benefit from receiving it? As I said, I agreed that it was not the best way to handle it at all and he's admitted that if he had to do it over again, he'd do it different. But if that's the worst thing we have on a guy, how bad can he be?

I don't think that people understand what it's like to be a superstar athlete or entertainer in the world these days. At 13, he was on the cover of Sports Illustrated. He was put on a pedastal by others. He didn't place himself on it. How do you learn grace and humility when people are catering to you at that age? I think it's easy to look from the outside and say a person should be like this or should act like that but the reality is that none of us knows what it's like to be in those kinds of positions or how we would react if we were.

His antics on the court don't seem out of line with what anyone else is doing these days. It's not the 1980's or 1990's anymore. Personally, I feel like a lot of the stuff is over the top.....the screaming and pounding your chest after a big dunk or block, the holding up three fingers after a long shot, etc. I didn't do that stuff and I don't care for it now. But LeBron is hardly the only guy doing this stuff. It's just part of this generation of players. The older guys did it in different ways. Jordan and Bird are legendary for talking a ton of trash on the court.

Overall, I just don't see a bad guy. I see a guy that's well liked by his teammates and well respected among his peers. Listen to any interview and he's respectful of his opponents and he doesn't get in trouble. The biggest negative people seem to be able to come up with is that he's having too much fun.
