If you owned a horse, would HOY be the defining victory for you? I highly doubt that. I think you would rather have your horse win $6.5 million than win HOY.
Yeah, because they really need the money. The HOY was very important to them as was the now blemished record. Me personally, I wouldn't care. But I also would have run her in more ambitious spots.
