Thanks for the news.

Hey Bold...

I know how much you love Turkey so found this for you. Maybe you can go with one of these.....

TURKEY
Momtic was no match for the locals in the closing stages of the Group 2 Topkapi Trophy at Veliefendi, Istanbul, on Sunday. But, although he could do no better than sixth, the only British runner on international day kept on gamely to be beaten under three lengths, writes Alastair Donald.

Ribella, third in the race two years ago and a regular visitor to the Dubai International Carnival, landed the spoils by a neck from Kaneko, with Kurtiniadis third ahead of the odds-on Sabirli.

You all are going to realize that Gorella is the bomb! She is going to awe you guys the rest of this season and DAZZLE even more next year!

Then she can go retire and make some awesome babies!

There ya go...Here is a horse that I think most root for! I think she is outstanding too Buffy!

This is a really bold prediction...

Nobiz Like Showbiz, but don't expect to see him in the Juvy race at Churchill Downs this fall. He'll most likely have his coming out party early next spring.

Sun King is coming into himself. I think that showing Up will be a lot better horse next year.

Bernardini and Discreet Cat are monsters.

And a lower level Grade I/Grade II horse who we will love is Lawyer Ron.

My predicition is that all of these horses mentioned in this thread will be the starz of next year.

I'm going to really go out on a limb here...
The horse of the year will be either Nobiz like Shobiz or Discreet Cat. Nobiz like Shobiz will win the Kentucky Derby. The unraced Hip #8 that I keep talking about is going to make some major noise as well if he makes it to the track.

Man, do I feel out of it right now. I'm completely clueless when it comes to 2YO's this year. My TC hangover is lasting longer than it should.

I think someone else posted a thread on Nobiz Like Shobiz when he won because it was so freaking awesome.

Nobiz like Shobiz broke his maiden (also his first start) in the 2nd race at Belmont on the 9th of this month. He is trained by Barclay Tagg (my fav. trainer!). He beat Bullara by 10 lengths without even being hand ridden down the stretch (although I think that the Cornelio used the stick to get by Bullara at the top of the stretch). He ran the mile in 135.26, which was the second fastest out of four at the distance on that day. It was unbelievable for a first time out. He is a beautiful animal and has such a pretty way of going. He impressed me a lot more than Tiz Wonderful or Prime Ruler did in their maidens.

Hip #8 is located in the March sale at barretts.com. of this year. He is a very beautiful moving Orientate who is fast, fast, fast.

I really wasn't blown away as everyone else was by Nobiz. I thought he passed a horse who was gasping and it made him look a lot better than he was. Behind the gasper who held 2nd place was absolutely nothing.
I'd really have to see him do something again before I went nuts over him. Call me skeptical.
