I'm not concerned about it. If he looks lame in the paddock or post parade, then I'll worry... I haven't seen that thus yet. Agree that it's not a good sign, though.

I can only hope that our board expert will be on hand to let me know just how sore he is.

It's a bloody shame too. Every dollar I planned on betting is riding on her expertise. I had forgotten she teamed up with Justin Dew this week.

If he'd been training w/bar shoes for 10 months like what Pletcher said, this isn't news. It would be a completely different story if he just started wearing them. Yet another non-story by the media.

Leroidesanimaux started wearing bar shoes immediately prior to the Mile in 2005, though that was a turf race and he ran pretty well anyway.
