From his earlier PPs I did not see any mention of trouble w/ SlewsTizzy though, has anyone seen his other races? Does he have any trouble on the break? or in traffic? Why does he wear blinkers in the first place?
many of the horses who wear blinkers do so to keep them focused on what's ahead of them, rather than anything alongside. usually keeps them closer to the early pace. i read an article on dwayne, or as i.d. calls him, dranged, and he puts most of his horses in blinkers-many from day one. possibly comes from his days as a q horse trainer, blinkers are pretty common in quarter horses, where you want them to concentrate on getting straight down the track as fast as you can.

Pletcher has a fairly lightly raced grass mare named Cassydora who I think may do some big things this year.

I tried to beat her yesterday, she had walked around the track in her last start from the inside post (50 to the half), figured she'd be pushed harder to get the lead from post 9, still ended up going 49 to the half and 113 thru 3 quarters, none of my closers had a chance. She may end up being special, but I'd like to see her get challenged early.
