Hit the early P4 Thursday for ‘real money’, and enjoyed one of those good kinds of days that are necessary at a meet like Saratoga to build the bankroll. Best Value 2nd choice Valiant Passion was usable in the MSW 2nd race at 15-1 with Ralph Nicks adept at sending babies out ready. When she went off at 30-1, the $63.00 win mutuel was a gigantic bonus and led to the boffo P4. Two obvious chalks followed the tote explosion ahead of $20.20 Al Stall trainee Heritage Hall, who flew home late in the 5th and delivered the best of the 4 possible winning outcomes for the ticket at $1.971.50. P3’s within the sequence were nice as well, with the 2nd-4th returning $257.00 and the 3rd-5th $96.50. Missed the late P4 because King Andrew failed to get by Surfing Ian in the 7th, but the day was a good one and I know a number of ATR listeners and Derby Trailers were riding along… Hope all did well!
