![]() The White House responds to a petition calling for creation of a Death Star.
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/res...-youre-looking Government of the nerds, by the nerds, and for the nerds. Even if we still had a Political Board (bring it back! Freedom! Wolverines!) this would still belong here.

Wouldn't call Steve "Vader" - just going along with the Star Wars theme in describing the destruction of the Politics forum. By the way, when did Governor Tarkin become Grand Moff Tarkin, outside of the Star Wars Lego game? When the movie came out in 1977, the books I had called him Governor Tarkin. |

![]() I'm sure you're right. For the record, the "Star Wars Storybook" (illustrated, around 1978) called him Governor Tarkin, and I think that's how Leia addresses him, right before Alderaan goes kablooey.

Though the best mispronunciation is when Leia greets Luke after the Death Star has been blown up and Luke pronounces her name as "Carrie." ![]()

![]() i think this is a must ask question in all future debates for the presidency.
'do you support the potential blowing up of a planet should it be warranted?' surely the administration is limiting itself severely in being so rigid with their response.
