Outstanding piece by Rich on Sunday. He uses the passing of an amateur filmaker, whose home movie of his family's 1956 trip to Disneyland was admitted to National Film Registry, as the backdrop for the flagging culture of American-style opportunity. Rich rarely misses a mark, and this is a fascinating, if disheartening, read. And the film, linked below, is remarkable. The 30 minute film itself.. Barstow Family's 'Disneyland Dream'
