![]() I think that was the colt that traded allowances with Friesan Fire prior to the main Louisiana Derby preps.
IIRC, he was scratched from a race after being found lame in a hind leg. As if by magic, he was suddenly better within days and re-entered. Not surprisingly, he ran poorly. I think he runs in Alysheba's silks, too. |

![]() He actually was entered in an allowance race in December that was ultimately won by Uno Mas with Friesan Fire finishing second. He was scratched out of that because of the injury and wound up running up the track in the Lecomte and Risen Star.
