Thanks for proving my point.

Default Scav's Jets predictions

1: Baltimore = W
2: New England = W
3: @ Miami = W
4: @ Buffalo = W
5: Minnesota = Dependent on Favre but likely W
6: @ Denver = L
7: Bye
8: Green bay = W
9: @ Detroit = W
10: @ Cleveland = W
11: Houston = L
12: Cincy = W
13: @ New England = W
14: Miami = L
15: @ Pittsburgh = L
16: @ Bears = W
17: Buffalo = W

And that is being generous to some teams like Denver because I am figuring the Jets will be thinking about relaxing next week. 12-4 is pretty simple with that schedule

It is far from throwing darts. I just did the Jets schedule, we'll see how good or bad I do

OMG, they could be 1-2 with those first 3 games easy.

New England is gonna suck, I'll agree that 2-1 is more likely then 3-0 but Rex will have them ready early.

I actually think they lose the opener against the Ravens.

The same rule goes for predicting who's going to suck. Especially if that prediction has no roots in logic.

according to your schedule, we only have five away games. So yeah, 12-4 makes sense then.

So sorry I forgot to put an away notion on there. LOL @ you....

You must not watch enough NFL or follow it closely to know who is going to be brutal and who is improved. There is obviously teams that will surprise you, but it isn't the rocket science you are making it out to be

Look at the Bears for example, they have zero shot to be any good this year and some has to do with their scheduling.

For starters.....
Week 2: At Dallas
Week 3: Green Bay
Week 4: At Giants

Then their last 8 games are
Week 10: Minnesota
Week 11: @ Miami
Week 12: Philly
Week 13: @ Detroit
Week 14: New England
Week 15: @ Minnesota
Week 16: Jets
Week 17: @ Green Bay

Where is the cupcake game there? Its brutal.

Next year, they will be a very good team after finishing 6-10 this year, and getting a cupcake schedule because of 'last years' finish.
This is the type of schedule that got Dikta fired, when they went 1-8 in the last nine games. They can start out 5-3 and tease everyone, and then finish at best 7-9 when all said and done.

They are talking around here like they are gonna win the division this year and they have ZERO chance. You are right about 7-9, that is best case scenario. I would rather be 4-12 this year so we can play a 4-12 schedule, get a draft pick, and then win the division next year.

Someone tell me what the o/u on Bears wins this year, I am guessing they have it at 7.5 or 8

Wow! I didn't realize this. I don't think 10 wins is going to be a problem with this group. Revis will be going by Game 1. Jets are offering 10 year 120 mil. to Revis wanting $160.

Denver is going to be horrid. Dumervil is a HUGE loss.

Dude, just stop. The whole 'you must not watch football' thing blew up on you last year, don't make an ass out of yourself yet again. 14 seasons in a row, at least 5 teams who missed the playoffs the year before made it. Parity is putting it lightly. Like I said, it's cool to try and mark off wins and losses, but only if you realize how retarded those predictions will look in two months.

Joey you've got to be worried about Revis. That situation could blow the whole season up.

It'd be real bad if he doesn't play obviously, but they're doing the right thing not caving in to him. Cromartie has been great in camp and hopefully with an improved pass rush we can protect Wilson on the other side. Also, I think the offense, which leaned so heavily on the defense last year, will be much improved and could offset some of the defensive setbacks if Revis is out.

What cracks me up is that no one on the goddamn earth besides Jet fans knew who Revis was a year ago, and now if you listen to the media he's the most important player in the history of everything.

They need to give him guaranteed money. Chances are he's going to be a top 3 corner for the next 5 years. So give him the long term deal and move on.

The problem is they're not going to talk guarantees until they agree on base compensation. Revis has to let the getting more money per year than Asomugha thing go. Al Davis is a moron and the Jets aren't going to allow him to set the market by grossly overpaying his best corner. The Jets are offering Revis 10 years/$120 million (which will probably translate to $30-$40 million guaranteed), which seems more than fair considering the guy, you know, has THREE YEARS LEFT ON HIS CONTRACT as it is. It was Revis' agents who insisted on the sixth year of his rookie deal by the way.

scav there is no way they go 5-1 in the divsion , no way no how

there is no way they win 3 games in a row in games 2-4 against the afc east ,not going to happen

they will not win both games against gb and minn

10 and 6 will be good very good for this team
