Well I never said I didn't suffer from it as well

"Yes", I do play in a lot, but it's a hobby and it helps in keeping me learning something about this game all the time. Although I am far, far from being in the "Big Time Players" league, I have that goal always in front of me and maybe by the time I reach 80, I will have reached it

I do get burnt out of course at times, but if I didn't do this, my life would be pretty boring, not to mention my house would be even more spotless than it already is.

I'm in that neighborhood and still can't find my goal

My wife bought one of those Roombas the other day. I think she was trying to tell me that my housekeeping skills are sadly lacking. Anyway, a man came to our door yesterday soliciting his tree service. The Roomba was next to the door on it's charging station. I accidentally hit it with my foot when I opened the door. It went around the room a few times and then went back and got on its charging station. Nice having helpful machines, but getting kinda scary when your vacuum cleaner is smart enough to plug itself back in.

I'm going with Texas Ryano in the Oceanside...

I'm thinking I might go with a show bet to give me some confidence, as I don't want to start off in negative numbers.

As the contest goes further, I realize I need some straight $100 win bets.

Thanks for the notice CAL. Got signed up, entered as a "serious player", and made my Thursday picks.

Did anyone start a "friends" group at the DM site for DT folks?

You're welcome. As far as the friends group, I don't know that anyone started one or if there is any interest. I guess you would have to know what everyone's user name is for the contest. Last year, I think we just put our picks on this thread.

Thread will work great.

I'm $80 on the 10 to Win and $20 to Show on the #2

I agree with Arletta, VERY tough race. First time through, the #10 was my fourth choice

You can bet whatever you like, but have a shot to win, your going to have to throw up some $100 to win bets more often than not.

Nice score Mike, luv it...I was between the 4 and 5, both closers..went wrong way..don't usually knock the jock but Bejarano waited till the race was over to get in gear.
