The guy is a sports bettor who has never showed an interest in the track. Absolutely floored that he made 5x his investment- And called me this week to find out if I was playing this weekend - Wants to learn how to handicap horses.

Agree completely - A sports bettor that gets a taste of a big payout will at least show an interest in wanting to learn more -

He'll like it until he sees some of the weekday cards at a track like GG. Sports betting looks pretty good when you see small fields and a big takeout.
