Has to be someone big enough to convince the kid that he can get him in with more top stables than hes riding for now. Frieze(Prado) sure won't be going anywhere, nor will Anderson(Gomez) or Cordero(Velazquez). That leaves a pretty short list of guys who are considered top flight or who have some juice with trainers that would lead a guy to dump Randy. I'm guessing word will leak out shortly. |

![]() LOL!!! Ok I get it now!!
I hadn't read any article on this, I was just told by someone that Jara had dumped Randy. I completely get it now. Gatewood Bell is the son of Jimmy Bell, the big honcho with the Sheikh's operation. Yeah, I get it now, lol!! |

![]() First of all, day to day, Jara is less than a good jockey. He has gotten lucky because of his relationship with Kiaran. He is the absolute proof that it is horses, and not riders, that win races. He has shown unequivicably that a good horse can overcome a lot.
I don't know who is taking his book, though I am sure there is a lot more than meets the eye, and all this speculation is VERY likely missing the real story. |

BTW is correct. gatewood was actually hustling and doing a lot of the work from midsummer on under Randy for Jara; i.e. getting him good mounts in barns outside of Kiarans w/ Mott, Tom Bush, etc.....Prior to that his only real consistent good mounts were with Kiaran, who looked out for him. |

I'm not normally one for conjecture, but has there ever been an article that should have had one of those smiley faces with a winking eye attached to it? It would have been a nice little touch for this one. |
