Sadly, that is what is missing from many of the dogs in the conformation ring, in my opinion.

No so with my little friend here, who knows what he is about

The AKC puts on a great assortment of events, most of which I consider sport, but as for me the conformation ring represents more politics than sport. The pup above has zero chance of attaining BIS at Westminster, even if he conforms 100% to his breed standard. Despite being the most represented breed in AKC registrations, his kind has never won there, and it's a safe bet never will. Why? Because the judging is so subjective.

Whiplash should ride each contestant in lieu of human handlers.

He was too good for the show circuit and knew it. Did it all!

Summer swimming in a lake not a pool

to winter squirrel hunting for real squirrels not stuffed toys...

Unless you eat the squirrels like they do in KY, it doesn't count

He never ate one just f'd with them endlessly. Saw many in his mouth but never dead.

But what a wonderful idea for a renewable food resource in urban environments. Cooked right it could be the new 'meat' tilapia.

The telecasters get annoying sometimes, but so far I love the Greyhound and Irish Elk hound. I am sure I will love about 20 of them before the nights over.
