We do every other year at Churchill. They do put on a great day on Thanksgiving. This year we are hosting Thanksgiving since we have a new born. Maybe next year we can hook up. Enjoy your holiday and win some money.

In a field where none of these inspire any confidence, Im willing to give CURSORA a shot switching back to the dirt for the first time since her second start... She was Argentina's champion three-year old female and mare of the year in 05, so the class is there, somewhere.

For a daughter of Candy Stripes out of an Ahmad mare, dirt should be perfectly suitable... and should be worth a shot at a decent price.

Well that race was no where near what I thought it would be. Joint Effort put in a nice effort. Some bumping down the lane but I dont think it would have mattered. JE was extremely tired and switching to the left lead is what cost her the race. I may get my $300 back. But all in all, a really nice effort by JE.

It appears that she did ok. There was only one way to find out... and now we know.

She certainly ran better than I thought she would though sprinters stretching to two turns often run their best races first time they try it.

Sadly my guess is this race was a frightening prelude to a series of VERY mediocre races for the older fillies and mares next year. This division appears to be extraordinarily weak. Sorry if I'm not falling all over myself about the Ermines of the world.

I have to agree. Unless we get a couple of horses that step up this division is going to blow in 2007. I didnt think the race yesterday was all that good. They went brutally slow and all of them were extremely tired when they hit the wire. I was happy with the fractions that JE ran, but I thought there would have been more speed. But I won $190 so it is all good.

The 9th at Churchill today might be a good spot to look for the star of the Distaff division for next year. Pletcher got a G1 winner from Argentina. Will be very interesting to see how she does.

She may win an award for most overbet horse of all time at her current odds.

I'm sure she'll win, ridiculously overbet horses from that barn usually do, but I think at the prices the 6 is a great bet.

The 2 horse ran her down. Your 6 ran well considering the suicidal fractions.

It did seem like a silly ride I guess.

I'm alive in the Pick-4, used the 1,2,6 and 7.

have 4,11 / 1,3,4 / 5,6.

At least it's a root.

As I recall this is not the first time that barn has gotten great over a short period of time.

Must be pointing for the meet!
