it was stupid and not funny, I thought he would actually try to do a good job of it not just make a mockery out of the whole thing

Some of his old shows were. Pretty wild...felt like he was edgy and something different...havent followed him in years now...though this was a bad call and not funny...he obviously had some time to prep for this all of 2 mins performance...surely doesn't show...looked like he just showed up called the race and left...doesnt care about the sport nor his act...came off the a prick

If you read the piece (I think on Bloodhorse.com) he genuinely tried to prepare but he didn't realize how racecallers do it. He thought he was supposed to memorize by color of saddlecloth not jockey's silks. He showed up all ready to go and they were like 'um nope.' So he scrambled to do what he did.

I thought it was great. I mute most calls by the track announcers anyways. It never adds anything for me to hear a call. Its like listening to the announcers watching a football game them telling me **** I already know.
