(Excerpt): Star German runner and sire Lando dies aged 23 By Martin Stevens 8:26PM 21 AUG 2013 LANDO, one of the best German racehorses of recent times and an important sire, died on Tuesday aged 23. The son of Acatenango was operated on after suffering from severe colic and surgery was successful.
