Default Kudos to Rich Perloff...

...for taking down the Pick Six at Saratoga on an $80 ticket. With consos, a score of better than 60K. Nice work...

Awesome indeed on an 80 dollar ticket. Hard to hit a Pick 4 for that these days

I don't know how you came up with better than 60k with consos.
Anyway congrats to Rich Perloff

That is incorrect. (8x272)+53,212=55388-25% federal tax=41541 is actually how much was credited to his wagering account.

25% is only taken out on the 6 of 6 payout, not the whole thing. They do not take anything out on the consols unless those are over 5k.

Whatever it is (thanks for the correction on the consos up there... brain cramp on my part), doing it on an $80.00 ticket is sterling work. It's the ultimate dream of the Pick Six carryover: a huge score for short money, one of the rare golden opportunities left betting the horses...

Not to be horrible or anything and God knows I can't pick a winner to save my life lately but did he actually play it?

I gave that some thought after I posted. Wish I could say I had that experience. I'm happy you did

What do you think? I personally don't think those people EVER play any of those tickets.

IMO, TVG is for people trying to learn the game and for newer people, where HRTV is more for the hardcore handicappers.

If he hit it, then some of the others who also hit it must have followed his ticket as well. Otherwise its proves that no one gives a flying fudge about the handicappers on TVG and probably no one follows any of their tickets at all.

Though Rich Perloff is probably by far the better handicappers than any of the pundits on TVG. Me thinks he is on the wrong network and he should shift over to HRTV.

Rich Perloff is at least as dedicated as any handicapper TVG has...if not, the most dedicated to his craft...and job, which mainly involves handicapping.

Congrats to him...and hopefully he played the ticket.

That's a tremendous accomplishment. Don't know Perloff at all, but as suggested above, he seems very sincere and genuine on air. Suppose that ticket was a 5x2x2x2x1x1 with Dance to Bristol and Revenue the singles and Typhoon Teri in one of the 2's. Finding Jade Run, the horse that was put up, wasn't easy on a narrow ticket. Bizarroworld and Hyman Roth were tough on small plays too. Great job.

Watching tvg this morning, sounds like he didn't play the ticket and is answering criticism for it on air

If he didn't play it, I'm surprised he didn't stick a banana in his car exhaust pipe last night.

Either way, great job of handicapping. very few easy pick-6s to hit if ever.
what did he say?
