![]() I have a number of trainer stats for Saratoga, but I thought this one was interesting.
19 trainers have 100 or more starts on dirt at Saratoga between 2008 and 2012. Only one has a positive ROI. Who is it? Three trainers have ROIs below $1.00. That'll be tough, but can anyone name them? |

Asmussen's dirt ROI is a very respectable $1.87 from 216 starters. Kimmel's is $1.74 from 109 starters. As CJ suspected, Weaver has only 87 dirt starters during that period, but his ROI is $1.97 Bingo! The 2011 meet helped it quite a bit. With exactly 100 dirt starters, Chad Brown's ROI is $2.18 |
