That would defeat the purpose of having a pk5. The 50 cent minimun distinguishes that pool from the pk6 pool which is prohibitive for most players due to the high $2 minimum.

A 50 cent minimum low takeout pk5 makes a ton of sense for NYRA and will likely be a huge pool which will have very large payouts that most bettors can play in.
