![]() My take on today's race was that after TC's last race where he had to swing out five wide and that dearly cost him a possible win.
So today,maybe the jock was told to keep him closer to the rail to save ground. Unfortunately, today it cost him as the rail did open but then he tried to get to the two-three path on the final 1/16th, the eventual winner and place horse swept past him with momentum ending TC's chance for a W. he did also hesitate and that cost him ! Onward

![]() Bit of a frustrating outcome today.. Indeed, the idea of saving ground was part of Alvarado's approach, so of course he gets blocked up. The inner turf is a tricky course... Paul Pompa has come to really like Toy Cannon and is looking forward to the opportunities this summer including at Saratoga. Hope everyone that went to Belmont enjoyed the big day!
