Well after a workout like that, you knew he was ready for another race:D How does he look against the competion? So great to get him back out there!!!

Kasept 05-24-2013 03:50 PM

He looks like one of the top choices again with Gossip Column & With Exultation. There is very little speed signed on.

Coup Verville 05-24-2013 05:56 PM

Sending him, Steve? ;)

Kasept 05-24-2013 06:09 PM

He could make the next edition of trips & traps for the trip he just recieved.
Congrats on a check guys, but I'm sorry that he didn't end up on the board where he deserved to.

Lava 05-27-2013 03:17 PM

It looked like he did not want to go through the hole.

Storm Cadet 05-27-2013 06:16 PM

My take on today's race was that after TC's last race where he had to swing out five wide and that dearly cost him a possible win.

So today, maybe the jock was told to keep him closer to the rail to save ground. Unfortunately, today it cost him as the rail did open but then he tried to get to the two-three path on the final 1/16th, the eventual winner and place horse swept past him with momentum ending TC's chance for a W. he did also hesitate and that cost him !

Onward

BigBlue 05-27-2013 08:03 PM

It looked like the best horse finished fourth today.

Kasept 05-27-2013 09:20 PM

Bit of a frustrating outcome today.. Indeed, the idea of saving ground was part of Alvarado's approach, so of course he gets blocked up. The inner turf is a tricky course... Paul Pompa has come to really like Toy Cannon and is looking forward to the opportunities this summer including at Saratoga. Hope everyone that went to Belmont enjoyed the big day!
