romney is a bullsh!tter. nothing wrong with obama saying something that everyone knows is true.

Agree completely, Zig. They are both classic bullsh1t artists. Just funny that the immediate hypocritical defense is "well, they were "talking privately", so that's different.

Never mind whatsoever that this "private" conversation was with the editor of Rolling Stone, either during or right after an interview - either way he knew his comments weren't off the record.... That makes me lol a little bit.

i wonder if cheney felt he was talking 'privately' when he told patrick leahy to go eff himself?? i think a lot of outrage was probably from people who can only dream of telling a politician something like that.

and when a reporter is involved, nothing, NOTHING is private or off the record.
