I'm not in favor of rebuilding on the site. I feel that it's sacred ground and what they've done to it is awful.

To each his own but the waterfall is creepy as all get out.

And I couldn't imagine working in the new tower...especially on the holiday and at night.

Exact quote from my newbie S.E. this morning, while shaking her head.

that's something i've always looked at and said not for me. they build those huge skyscrapers-but all that weight is carried by the very bottom supports. if they fail-there goes the neighborhood.
engineering takes so many things into consideration-but the magnitude of the catastrophe that day isn't something anyone could foresee. a huge fire, and no sprinklers, and god knows how much movement and strain due to the other buildings collapsing.
and sometimes there are mistakes made. there was that walkway years ago that collapsed. bridges have been done incorrectly-that bridge that collapsed in st paul-they'd overloaded part of the span with building materials. as soon as it happened i told my husband that was probably what did it. of course they had denials initially, but in the end, that was exactly what was wrong.

we push our luck trying to feed our egos by building higher and higher. there are limits no matter what we want.

Let's never forget the religion that led to these animals deciding it was a good idea to kill innocent civilians.

Absolutely fu.cking ridiculous.

While we're on ridiculous topics...

O'Reilly said he hasn't lost any liberties since 9/11. That liberal punching bag Holmes agreed, of course. He doesn't want to lose his job. He already got bullied out of his show with Vannity.

The blonde presstitute, who I believe is on the early morning show, agreed and said she hasn't lost hers as well.

Absolutely pathetic.

Carl's Jr. Rove is pontificating with Vannity.

Waiting for Rachel Meadow to come back from break. Hey...she pronounces it like that. It's pretentious as can be.

Like 5 minutes of commercials. One was of the pasty guy that got a tingle up his leg when Obama gave a speech or a photo op...whatever.

Something off about that guy.

Commercial with a bunch of cats.

Now back to Meadow. Kinda Freudian there.

WTF

More commercials. 6 minutes. 6 minutes. 6 minutes. Butchy shill you on.

K.D. Lang had Kurt Eichenwald on to plug his new book that throws dubya under the bus.

Meadow threw some soft balls and didn't address this...
