Akin needs to resign, today.

Ann Romney is smarter than that, c'mon 'Zig.

Interesting thing about the Akin resignation, he has to do it by end of business Tuesday or he's still on the ballot no matter what.

Akin represents most of the current GOP thinking. Remember the entire GOP, lead by Paul Ryan, tried to redefine "rape" into "forceable rape" just last year.

You know, it's not rape unless she has the crap beat out of her at the same time.

Crazy, idiotic douchebags, these pretend "men". Every one of them needs to get the hell out of our women's sex lives and personal healthcare. They are like Ayatollahs trying to force their religious views on their fellow Americans.

That is why I said today.

The bill isn't exactly worded like that.

Ah, yes, House Bill 3 - because the most important thing that new 2010 House had to do wasn't jobs, wasn't the economy, it was trying to dictate what rape is "real" and what rape is, you know, "she was probably asking for it".

What a massive, utter fail this elected House has been. A historical failure.

The thought that, in 2012, male American elected officials - in an alleged democratic republic - are actively trying to legislate, to dictate American women's reproductive lives and control their procreation is completely astounding to me.

That people - voters - support them is even more astounding.

Not really what is written in there, just says I don't need to pay for it.

No. There has already long been a federal act that no taxpayer dollars are used for abortion. They never have been, never will.

House Bill 3 was a deliberate attempt to infringe further upon American women's rights, based upon the religious views and zealotry of a few elected officials.

Over 40 bills have been passed in this current House regarding women's rights to procreation, trying to curtail them. Americans in certain Congressional districts elected a bunch of theocratic autocratic dictators to our House of Representatives.

That's absurd, and un-American, and I can't believe people try to justify this appalling assault on our American freedom and rights.

Reminder: Adkins has to get off the ticket by end of business Tuesday, or his name is still listed on the ballot no matter what (even if he bails out later).

He was double digits ahead of the Democrat before he said this.

This is exactly why current Dem Senator Clare McCaskill used her superPac money to run ads in favor of this guy getting the GOP nomination in the primary.

Clever, that woman - knew she'd be running against a loon if he won the primary. He won, he's revealed himself as crazy, and now the GOP is seeing their chance of winning that senate seat fading away.

Would you post those bills for us all to read and enjoy?
Not some blog post about what the house has done, but the actual bills and how they are eliminating women's rights in this country.
