The talk on Twitter is that Belmont has been cancelled today due to the heat.
Hopefully Steve or Andy can confirm this.

Just saw the confirmation:
NYRA @NYRAnews Live racing cancelled at Belmont Park on Thursday due to weather conditions. Simulcasting open at Aqueduct and Belmont Cafe.

Whoa that's pretty scary. I guess they didn't wanna offer a wager on which jockey was most likely to be struck by lightning in the 5th.
Any idea what Pletcher plans on doing with The Last Meow since her optional claimer got canned today? As her name would suggest, she's the last Storm Cat foaled so I've been keeping an eye out for her next start. Not sure why she hasn't raced since February. Some sort of setback I guess.
