It was a live bankroll of 2k and you say he won the contest by 11k? So he took home AT LEAST 9k home. I would say thats a good day.

9000 doesn't get jinx off couch. he needed that extra 18000 for his 5th transatlantic vacation of the year.

He had a great day but missed out on an additional 16k and a trip to the NHC b/c of the DQ. That's a very tough beat.

LOL. I promised him I'd help him calculate his bets at the Breeders' Cup Betting Challenge. When he gets the invoice for that, he'll really need that 16k.

If the invoice is not over three million he probably has it stuffed in his sock drawer.

Jack...dude.

Congrats on what I'm sure was an excellent display of handicapping and betting...but you really should pull every single hair out of your head.

I was sitting one row in front of Jack at Keeneland and got to witness first hand what an amazing day of handicapping he had. He was far and away the best in that room. The rules are the rules and it was a clear violation so they had no choice to DQ him. But, it is a real shame nonetheless.

Jack--it was great meeting you in person and spending time with you yesterday. Keep your head up and I do hope to still see you at Saratoga this summer.

Paul
