Your wording on a couple of the questions was pretty poor.

For instance, in question #1, even though I think I understood what you were trying to ask, the way the question was worded, well, obviously $48 for $2 is greater than even money.

#2. If a Moss pt is 2.73 Bsf pts, then rest assured, a 72 Moss would be much higher than 43ish.

Read the question again...

Each Moss Pace figure point is equal to 2.73 Beyer Points. A Moss Pace figure of 72 equals a Beyer figure of what?

A) 38.22 B) 43.68 C) 82.18 D) 91.44"


A Moss Pace Fig of 56 equals a Beyer of 0.

A Moss Pace Fig of 57 equals a Beyer of 2.73

58 = 5.46
59= 8.19
60= 10.92
61= 13.65
72= 43.68
100 = 120.14

The Moss scale was setup that way so horses didn't run a bunch of negative figures in slower paced races.

Doesn't the math on this vary based on the pools? I get the math in theory but I was under the impression that one pool had very little (perception) mathematical effect on the other.

If you bet $2 to win on Boldly you would get $25.00

If you bet that $25 to win on Sing It Again ... $25 on a 4/1 shot gets you back $125

If you bet $125 to win on Tap'n My Toes ... a $125 win bet on a horse who pays $60 gets you $3,750

Thus, the answer is A.
